Bipolar

At the age of 13 I was diagnosed as a manic depressive. Today it's known as bipolar. To be all technical, I have been diagnosed as bipolar type 1 ultra rapid cycling. I also have had bouts of psychosis, PTSD, intermittent explosive anger disorder and a few other alphabetical insanities as I like to call them. I was basically untreated until about four years ago.

If it wasn't for my husband, I'd probably be dead by now. It's been a long road. One I'm still walking on. Below are links to posts regarding my bipolar or just my moods in general.

Bipolar is a part of me. It doesn't define me or force me into a corner. I am the person I am today because of all I've been through over the last eighteen years. And for the first time ever I like the me I see in the mirror.
